Yes, thank you. So, as Giles has said, we're well capitalised currently, so we have plenty of cash to invest over the next few years. However, having said that, we understand that we can't rely solely on the Welsh Government, so, internally, we have a fundraising team, if you like, that analyses our track record, and we think we've got a pretty good story to tell. We've been an impact investor for 20 years now, as the development bank and as our predecessor, and we've also got great governance and a track record of delivery.
So, building on that, there are two real strands to the fundraising. So, the first one is bidding for tenders and external fundraising contracts, like we had to do prior to being funded by the Welsh Government predominantly, and, currently, there a number of near-term opportunities I guess is the best description.
The first one is city region deals, and the capital city region have an investment fund out right now for tender, and then, a little bit further down the track, we're not quite sure when, but certainly within the next couple of years, we expect the British Business Bank to be making investment funds available open to tender, maybe in the next couple of years, and we will be in position, we hope, to bid into those funds.
Then the second strand is really about fund creation, and for us that is about looking for complementary gaps, if you like, in the provision within the Welsh financial sector, so, where can we add value. It's no good us raising funds to deploy in areas that are already well served. A good example of that is when we raised management succession funds, which we couldn't do previously, and we won private sector investment from the Clwyd pension fund in 2019, and that was built on our track record of market-acceptable returns, but with a focus and the impact of investing in Wales. And, as I said earlier, I think we've got a great story to tell there, and we hope to build on that to leverage, maybe, investment from other pension funds and, potentially, large corporate investors.
