What assessment has the Minister made of the impact of the February 2024 Labour Market Overview on promoting prosperity and tackling poverty?

Care should be taken over interpreting the Labour Market Statistics at present, especially those obtained through survey data. The Chief Statistician has provided an account of these issues, which is available at the following link:
The Welsh budget is now worth up to £1.3bn less, in real terms, than when it was set in the 2021 UK Spending Review. This will inevitably have a negative impact on Welsh Government actions on promoting prosperity and tackling poverty in Wales.
