Has artificial intelligence or machine learning been used in the automated valuation model, in relation to the Valuation Office Agency’s work for the Welsh Government on an automated valuation model for a council tax revaluation?

This information is not held by the Welsh Government. The Valuation Office Agency - an executive agency of HMRC – is the statutory body which values properties for council tax purposes in Wales (as it is in England). It is independent of the Welsh Government. The methodology used to value properties across England and Wales for a range of purposes, is a matter for them.
