What action is the Welsh Government taking to ensure that the 2025-2026 local government settlement will enable councils to deliver on their responsibilities?

The Welsh Government financial position remains extremely challenging, and we continue to face difficult decisions to align budgets with key priorities and spending pressures as we prepare for the 2025-26 Budget.
As in previous Draft Budgets, we will protect frontline public services as far as possible and continue to target support towards those with the greatest needs.
