Will the Cabinet Secretary confirm which company will be operating the T4 bus service when Stagecoach's contract ends, and when this will come into force?

Following a public procurement exercise I am pleased to confirm that Transport for Wales have awarded a new contract to Powys based Celtic Travel to operate the TrawsCymru T4 contract for a period of five years. The T4 service will operate between Newtown and Merthyr Tydfil seven days a week. The T4 service will connect with local bus and rail services in Merthyr Tydfil. The new service contract will commence on 1 September 2025.
