Question
Will the Cabinet Secretary confirm whether the Taith scheme will be wound down in light of the UK Prime Minister's announcement on the Erasmus plus scheme?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Further and Higher Education
Rejoining Erasmus+ in 2027 and the Taith programme’s extension to 2028 ensures that there is continuity in provision for learners. Future plans for Taith beyond 2028 will be considered once we have worked through the wider implications.
