Question
Will the Cabinet Minister confirm what percentage of farmers have subscribed to the Sustainable Farming Scheme since the start of the scheme?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Rural Resilience and Sustainability (Llyr Gruffydd)
I published data on the Sustainable Farming Scheme (SFS) – in a written statement on 10 June: Written Statement: Single Application Form 2026 – Details of the numbers of Sustainable Farming Scheme - Universal Layer and Basic Payment Scheme claims (10 June 2026) | GOV.WALES
Information on whether SFS claimants are hill or lowland farmers is not collected.
