Question
Will the Cabinet Minister confirm whether the Welsh Government’s new Human Rights Act will apply to only British citizens, to all people legally resident in Wales, or to everyone in Wales including illegal immigrants?
Answer
Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Equality (Sioned Williams)
Human rights are universal: they belong to everyone, regardless of nationality, origin or immigration status.
