Fund more care & support for women’s gynaecological & reproductive health

We need more funding for care and support needs to be provided for women who struggle with their reproductive and gynaecological health. We are concerned that incorrect, outdated and unhelpful information is being provided, that does not help manage the symptoms. MANY women feel they are ignored or dismissed when they raise issues.

We want to stop seeing women told to ‘lose weight’ or being offered contraceptives for treatment. Insulin resistance needs to be taken more seriously and more treatment options should be available. Painful symptoms, irregular or absent periods, fatigue, hormonal imbalances, all need to be taken more seriously and more treatment should be available. Menopause, Endometriosis, PCOS (PMOS), all conditions need to be cared about more. Women shouldn’t have to persist to be listened to and shouldn’t be disregarded and given lazy advice. We believe significant changes need to happen.
