Will the Cabinet Minister confirm whether Rural Payments Wales will make advance payments of the Basic Payment Scheme in October, like they did last year?

Rural Payments Wales will be making Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) advance payments from 14 October 2026, subject to the necessary eligibility checks being completed.
As in previous years, advance payments will be made automatically to eligible claimants, with balance payments following once full validation checks have been completed.
