Question
Further to WQ100477, does the Welsh Government tell asylum seekers via any form of communication that it wants them to stay in Wales if granted refugee status?
Answer
Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Equality (Sioned Williams)
Decisions about where an individual granted refugee status lives are a matter for the individual. The Welsh Government does not communicate with individuals for the purpose of encouraging them to remain in Wales.
