Question
Will the national skills audit and any subsequent delivery plan prioritise the development of skills in the construction sector?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education (Cefin Campbell)
I recognise the vital role that construction skills play in delivering homes, infrastructure, net zero and economic growth. The national skills audit will assess current and future skills needs across key sectors, including construction. We plan to publish the full audit findings in spring 2027.
