Question
Will the Cabinet Minister explain what the allocation of £233,000 to deliver migration and sanctuary activity within 2026 to 2027 is paying for, as shown in the Welsh Government decision reports: 2026 - 7th Government?
Answer
Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Equality (Sioned Williams)
The agreed allocation of £233,000 to deliver Migration and Sanctuary activity during 2026-2027 will fund the delivery of work to support migrant integration in Wales during this financial year.
This work will support our Programme for Government commitment to work with partners to support people seeking sanctuary to participate and integrate into Welsh society, helping them rebuild their lives safely and with dignity.
