Will the Cabinet Secretary commit to halting all current and future developments on the Gwent Levels in order to appropriately safeguard the environment for future generations, in line with calls from the Gwent Wildlife Trust?

Planning Policy Wales is clear that development on Sites of Special Scientific Interest is generally unacceptable as a matter of principle. This policy position informs current and future development proposals on the Gwent Levels.
