Seats held when the Sixth Senedd ended on 6 May 2026. Welsh Labour formed the Welsh Government.
Seats are as they stood on the last day of the term, 6 May 2026.
In each row, the grey bar is the party's share of the seats and the coloured bar is its share of the speeches and questions made in the Sixth Senedd. Contributions are speeches and questions in Plenary and in committee meetings, counted under the party the Member belonged to at the time. Chairing by the Llywydd and deputies is left out. Ministers' answers count, which raises the governing party's share. 3,862 contributions by speakers with no party recorded are left out.
Cohesion is the share of a party's voting Members who voted with the party majority, averaged across votes. 100% means they always voted the same way. Votes where fewer than two of the party's Members voted are left out, so a party with one Member has no score.
Voted with the government counts the votes where both the government and the party took a clear side (for, against or abstain), and how often the two matched. The government's side is the way most Welsh Labour Members voted.
