What plans does the Welsh Government have to encourage the playing of chess in schools?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Minister for Education and the Welsh Language (Anna Brychan)
The Welsh Government has not provided direct funding to promote chess in schools during the last three years and has no specific plans to do so. We invest £3 million annually in enrichment provision, which schools may choose to use to support chess clubs or related activities.
