Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning (Siân Gwenllian)
The Town Centre Taskforce is an independent time-limited Task and Finish group, and its role is to consider the challenges facing town centres and provide practical recommendations to Welsh Ministers. As an independent body, the Taskforce has not been set detailed measurable objectives at the outset, its work will be to explore the issues facing town centres, identify priorities, and develop recommendations for Ministerial consideration. It is anticipated that these recommendations will inform future policy and decision-making relating to town centres in Wales. The Taskforce is expected to conclude its programme of work and submit its recommendations to Welsh Ministers in Spring 2027.
