What plans does the Welsh Government have to further implement recommendations from “I used to be someone” - Refugees and asylum seekers in Wales report produced by the Equality, Local Government and Communities Committee?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Equality (Sioned Williams)
The Equality, Local Government and Communities Committee's report I used to be someone was published in April 2017. The Welsh Government provided its response and, where accepted, the recommendation actions were subsequently taken forward by the previous Welsh Government administrations.
We remain committed to supporting refugees and people seeking sanctuary in Wales and will continue to keep arrangements for that support under review. We will also consider any future committee recommendations made to the Welsh Government.
