The maintenance of minutes and other records arising from morbidity and mortality meetings, clinical governance meetings and similar forums is a matter for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Health Boards are expected to have robust clinical governance arrangements in place and to maintain appropriate records to support oversight, assurance and organisational learning.
I receive regular assurance on quality, safety and governance matters from the Health Board through established oversight arrangements. Where concerns are identified, I expect the Health Board to take appropriate action and provide assurance that these have been addressed.
