What discussions has the Welsh Government had with Impala Terminals about the future of its commercial operations in Milford Haven?
Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Minister for Enterprise, Connectivity and Energy (Adam Price)
I was disappointed to learn of Impala Terminals' decision to cease its commercial operations at Milford Haven and recognise the uncertainty this creates for employees, their families and the wider community. We have sought to engage with the company following the announcement and are also in discussion with local partners, to understand the implications of the decision for the Haven and the wider local economy.
While the company has indicated that commercial operations are being shut down during an anticipated transition period, discussions remain ongoing and I will continue to monitor developments closely. Our immediate priority is to ensure that those affected are aware of, and can access, the employment, skills and careers support available to them.
