The National Peatland Action Programme has already restored over 3000 hectares of peat since it began in 2020. This year we are investing a further £4m and plans are in an advanced stage to increase this for next year.
We are committed to increasing tree cover in Wales, as part of our actions to tackle climate change and support a wide range of tree planting initiatives.
