Will the Government provide an update on the commitment to introducing the Welsh language standards on public transport?

There are changes happening in the UK Railway industry – which includes services running to Wales. We’re looking at how Welsh language standards can take those changes into account and have held discussions with stakeholders within the sector. As a result, we intend to align the introduction of standards for public transport providers with the establishment of GBR (Great British Railways). This will ensure that standards are suitable for the current landscape. Policy work will continue, including consideration of the inclusion of bus providers within those regulations.
