Ateb
Atebwyd gan Cabinet Secretary for Housing and Local Government
Following receipt of any community review undertaken by the Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru on behalf of a local authority, there is a period where representations can be made to Welsh Ministers in respect of the Commission’s findings. It is important that any representations received are considered carefully alongside the recommendations made.
I expect to be in a position to communicate my decision shortly in light of the recommendations and following consideration of representations made. Where changes to the current arrangements are agreed, they will come into force on 6 May 2027. This will allow a smooth transition from the current structures to new arrangements, if required.
