Debate: The Draft Budget 2025-26
Amendment 1, tabled in the name of Paul Davies
What this vote was about
The vote on Paul Davies's amendment, which would add a line saying the Senedd believes the Draft Budget fails to deliver on the priorities of the people of Wales.
The Senedd debated the Welsh Government's Draft Budget for 2025-26, its early spending plans. Jane Hutt (Welsh Labour) moved a motion to note it. Paul Davies (Welsh Conservatives) proposed adding that it fails the people of Wales' priorities. That addition was rejected and the Senedd agreed to note the draft budget.
